Damage to Vehicles

July 20th, 2010

In the early morning hours of Tuesday July 20, 2010, Police received several reports of mischiefs to vehicles in the Mirror Lake and downtown Camrose area. Damage consisted of having several side view mirrors smashed and broken off. In addition, damage was also done at the Battle River Credit Union downtown office where subjects went on the roof and damaged air conditioning units. Vehicles were also damaged downtown.  

Two male suspects were caught on video surveillance damaging vehicles in the Panago Pizza parking lot. Camrose Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying these two males. You can view the video on our Police website or by clicking this link:

Mischief to Truck

June 1st, 2010

On May 1, 2010 a grey Chevrolet pick-up truck was parked near the East doors of the Wal-Mart parking lot. When the owner returned  to the vehicle he found that an unknown person had scratched the paint down the drivers side of the vehicle. This incident occurred between 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Theft from Truck

April 24th, 2010

Sometime between Tuesday, February 16 to Sunday February 21, 2010, a pair of fog lights and wiring harness was stolen off a 2010 GMC half ton truck. The truck had been parked in the Camrose McClellan Wheaton dealership parking lot on the Northeast side.

Theft Of Tires

March 22nd, 2010

 

Between February 2nd and 3rd 2010, sometime during the hours of 8:00 P.M. and 8:00 AM unknown person(s) stole four (4) tires and rims off a Chevrolet  truck. This truck was parked in the rear of a residence. The location was near Marler Drive and 62nd Street.

The tires are described as 37” X 13”, R16 Interco Super Swamper Bogger Tires with 16” steel spoke style white rims. Also stolen was a 60” Highlift Jack.

Theft of Truck and Industrial Wire

February 4th, 2010

On Wednesday February 3rd, 2010 between the hours of 5:30 and 6:30 AM a 2002 International 400 Series 5-Ton body truck was stolen from the Hi-Way 13 Transport lot at 4621 39 Street in Camrose. The license plate on the truck at the time was G82876. On the exterior of the truck were Hi-Way 13 Transport decals.

Suspects also loaded a large reel of industrial electrical wire onto the truck off a trailer in the lot. The wire reel weighs 7000 lbs, its value is approximately $36,000.00. The truck and wire were then driven out of lot.

Theft From Constuction Site

January 6th, 2010

Sometime between 4:00 P.M. on December 15th, 2009 and 7:00 P.M. on December 16th, 2009, unknown person(s) stole property from two contractors construction sites, one located on 50 Street near the railway trestle in the 4000 Block and the other one located along Camrose Drive in the 6600 Block. Property stolen includes two 100 lb white propane bottles and a 150 gallon white plastic water tank with a total value estimating at $800. The suspect(s) cut the locks and chains from both sites and loaded the property into the back of an unknown truck and fled the scene.

Theft of Truck

January 1st, 2010

 

During the night of November 24 to the early morning hours of November 25, 2009 a truck was stolen from a residence in the 6600 block on 53rd Avenue in CAMROSE, Alberta by person or persons unknown.  The truck is described as a black, 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 with a silver checker-plate slip tank fuel tank combination in the back.  It has a fifth wheel tailgate with a drop down center and a Harley Davidson hitch cover.

Break & Enter/Theft

December 7th, 2009

On November 19, 2009 between the hours of 2:56 AM and 4:00 AM, two unknown males unlawfully entered the Speedy Serve & Laundromat located at 5102-53 Street, Camrose, Alberta.

Suspects illegally entered the business and used a saw to cut through the ATM machine. Stolen was cash, cartons of cigarettes, and tobacco products. Suspects left in a vehicle and fled the scene.

Suspects are described as: #1 Caucasian male, 20-mid 30’s in age, full goatee wearing a black winter jacket with a reflective stripe on the chest front and back. He was also wearing a red hoodie.

Suspect #2 is a Caucasian male 20-30’s years old. Full goatee, wearing a puffy down jacket with a logo on the front left side and dark blue or black hoodie.

Theft From Motor Vehicle

November 27th, 2009

Between the dates of November 21st and November 23, 2009 unknown person(s) unlawfully entered an unoccupied motor vehicle and stole several items. This occurred in the area of 42 Avenue and 62 Street in Camrose, Alberta.

Stolen items included a brown 308 caliber Remington pump action long barrel rifle with an Armsport 3X32 scope, camouflage strap and an ammunition clip. Also stolen was an ACER laptop computer with a black case, and a Garman NUVI 255 GPS unit.

Mischief at Camrose Composite High School

November 27th, 2009

Sometime between October 25th and November 2nd,  2009, a mischief took place at the Camrose Composite High School. Unknown suspects burned 60 dust collection socks inside a unit located North of the maintenance shed. The suspect(s) also expelled a fire extinguisher inside the dust collection socks either prior to or after the fire. Damage Is estimated around $2000.00.

November 1st, 2009

On October 13th, 2009, at approximately 10:30 A.M. a suspect unlawfully entered the Battle River Recreation business at 3905-51 Avenue, in Camrose, Alberta. The suspect cut the wires to the telephone and alarm system.

The suspect then rummaged through the building and stole over $200.00 in cash. The suspect fled on foot out the rear door of the building fleeing westbound towards 41 Street.

Theft

August 1st, 2009

On July 23rd between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 5:00A.M. three or four persons were involved in the attempted theft of up to six vehicles in Camrose. They were unsuccessful in their attempts but managed to steal various items from the six vehicles. The suspects also damaged the vehicles to gain entry.

Two separate eye witness accounts describe the suspects. One suspect is male, 5’ 8” tall, between 120 – 130lbs and dressed in black with a white ball cap. Another is a mid 20’s female with brown shoulder length hair. Another female is described as having shoulder length blond hair.

The vehicle they were driving is a mid 1980’s Chevrolet pick-up with a two toned paint job possibly grey in colour. The truck is also identifiable by an unusually loud engine noise.
