Application Process Timeline
Camrose Police Service – 2010 Recruiting Process

To assist you in planning your calendar the dates of our process are:
Stage One: The application closing date is August 27th, 2010.
Stage Two: The two entrance exams will take place at the Norsemen Inn in Camrose on September 16th, 2010. Testing will take the full day.
Applicants who pass both entrance exams advance to the fitness test. The A-PREP Fitness Test will take place on September 20th, 2010 at Edmonton Police Service Headquarters located at 9620 – 103A Avenue, Edmonton. For more information on the A-PREP test please refer to the recruiting section of our website.
Stage Three: Candidates passing Stage Two will be scheduled for the Personal Disclosure Interview in Camrose. The interviews will be conducted between September 20th and 24th, 2010.
Candidates advancing to the Behaviour Descriptive Interview will have their interview scheduled between September 27th and 30th or October 1st, 2010.
Stage Four: Computer Voice Stress Analysis will take place in Camrose September 29th to October 1st and October 4th and 5th, 2010.
Psychometric Evaluation will occur in Edmonton on October 6th, 2010.
Stage Five: Background checks will be conducted October 1st to 8th, 2010.
Stage Six: The Police Service will make its final selection and make conditional offers of employment October 8th, 2010.
Successful applicants will start with the Camrose Police Service in October, 2010. All Camrose recruits train with the Edmonton Police Service. The start date of the recruit training class has not been announced.
